Client Overview:
The client is a Silicon Valley tech company that offers small to medium-sized businesses a platform that seamlessly connects the dots between time cards, payroll, and workers’ compensation, helping them easily manage, pay, and insure the hourly workforce.
The company came to Galactic Fed and asked us to put together an SEO program that would increase their visibility online, send relevant traffic to their site, and improve their site’s overall performance. In order for all these improvements to happen, Galactic Fed identified all issues on their site, set up their SEO foundation, made sure that best practices are followed, built relevant and quality backlinks, optimized the site’s internal link architecture, and provided SEO consultancy and guidance.
Strategy:
Before the team dove into link building and into the rest of our digital marketing program, Galactic Fed had to make sure that the entire site was optimized so all the rest of our efforts will have a better impact on its rankings. So in the first few weeks, Galactic Fed laid down the groundwork for the rest of our marketing strategy by setting up a comprehensive SEO foundation that helped us zero in on the search phrases that their target audience was actively searching for. These high-value search phrases were then used to fine-tune the meta copy of the many different pages on the site. A complete technical SEO audit was performed, pinpointing all the issues that needed to be resolved, including page speed problems, broken links, weak meta copy, etc. Galactic Fed also recommended the best solution for all the issues Galactic Fed found and helped the client’s team understand and implement these recommendations. The team also started configuring the link architecture of the site to make sure they spread the ranking power across its pages.
The heart of the campaign was link building. The team put together an outreach campaign, focusing on getting relevant and high-quality websites to link back to the client’s content to boost the site’s overall backlink profile.
Keyword research, technical SEO site audit, and internal link architecture are done on a regular basis to continue to work magic at the backend while links continue to pour in.
Performance Results:
The SEO program the team put in place is still ongoing, and it’s only been five months since Galactic Fed kicked off the engagement, but the results are already through the roof. The referring domains pointing to the site grew from 125 to 284, making a 127% increase and counting. Backlinks also increased by 66%, going from 523 at the beginning of the campaign to 870 as of this writing. The site also now ranks for 93% more keywords compared to when the campaign started. Finally, Galactic Fed have brought a 25% increase to the site’s organic traffic so far.
